Ward to Complete Orso’s Term as Assessor

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday named Larry Ward the assessor-county clerk-recorder.
Ward, 55, will fill the unexpired term of Gary Orso, who recently retired. The position will be up for election in 2006. Ward, who has worked for the county for 27 years, was most recently the assistant in charge of the clerk-recorder’s office.
