Tangled relationships
I am looking forward to this week’s Getting Personal column on road trips (Page 32). That too is my first test for a relationship.
But I do have one more test -- it’s a little toy. It’s usually called a nail puzzle -- two interlaced pieces of metal that you have to undo from a tangled “knot” into two separate “nails.” How a woman handles trying to solve the puzzle is telling. If they get upset or curse the thing, then they are probably not the right person. If they laugh and take as long as they need, then they are a good choice. It’s all in the attitude.
It’s not failsafe, though. My ex-wife solved it.
