Bruins Rally for an 85-70 Win Over Cal
Nikki Blue had 20 points and 14 assists, and No. 25 UCLA overcame a halftime deficit to beat California, 85-70, on Saturday.
Amanda Livingston scored a career-high 23 points and Lisa Willis had 14 for the Bruins (12-6, 6-3 Pacific 10 Conference). UCLA, which forced 26 turnovers in its fourth straight win over Cal, took control with a 14-2 run midway through the second half.
Renee Wright scored 16 points for the Golden Bears (8-10, 2-7), who took a 39-36 lead to halftime. The Bears got back within seven points in the final minutes, but UCLA made 54% of its shots in the second half.
