New anchor: Cher Calvin, a morning anchor at KVVU-TV in Las Vegas, will join KTLA-TV Channel 5 here Feb. 7 as co-anchor of the “KTLA Morning News: First/Early Edition,” airing weekdays at 5 a.m.
Together again: A hotly rumored reunion of Cream, the British trio consisting of guitarist Eric Clapton, bassist Jack Bruce and drummer Ginger Baker, has been confirmed for this spring in London. The group will play four shows May 2, 3, 5 and 6 at Royal Albert Hall, where they played their final shows before disbanding in 1968. They last played together in 1993 at their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Back home: After more than seven weeks in the hospital, Dick Clark was reported back at home in Malibu on Thursday, continuing his recuperation from what was described as a minor stroke.
