Quigley Takes Charge With 66

Dana Quigley shot a six-under-par 66 on Friday to take the second-round lead at 11-under 133 in the Senior Players Championship at Dearborn, Mich., the second major this year on the Champions Tour.

Isao Aoki (69) and Tom McKnight (67) were two shots back, and Peter Jacobsen (66), Hale Irwin (68) and Ron Streck (70) followed at eight under.

Quigley, Aoki and McKnight finished before the threat of lightning caused a delay of 3 hours 13 minutes.

Beth Daniel shot a six-under 65 to take a one-stroke lead at seven-under 135 after two rounds of the LPGA’s Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic at Sylvania, Ohio.

U.S. Open champion Birdie Kim and Hee-Won Han shared second place, Han after a 67 and Kim after an even-par 71.
