Conflict of interest
Re “Gov. Cancels Magazine Contract,” July 16
As a public official subject to conflict-of-interest rules, I would be terminated if I accepted money from anyone who influenced me in my official capacity. These rules are necessary to keep payoffs out of governmental business.
