Man Gets Prison for Using Stolen Credit Data

A Tustin man has been sentenced to four years and four months in prison after pleading guilty to stealing credit card account numbers from a Brea pet health insurance company where he worked.

Fernando Monje Orozco, 32, used at least 20 credit cards from August 2003 to April 2004 to buy laptop computers and diamond rings, among other items, on the Internet that amounted to about $30,000, said Orange County Senior Deputy Dist. Atty. Mark Sevigny.

Orozco was taken into custody Friday and is being held at Orange County Jail.
