Mass Set for Football Star Glenn Davis
A Mass of Christian burial for former Army football star and 1946 Heisman Trophy winner Glenn Davis will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 47225 Washington St., La Quinta.
Davis died of complications from prostate cancer Wednesday at his home in La Quinta. He was 80.
Burial will be Friday at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.
