Washington 95, Seattle 94 -- Larry Hughes scored 31 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, to help the visiting Wizards end the SuperSonics’ five-game winning streak and prevent them from clinching a playoff berth.

Ray Allen had 27 points for Seattle, which suspended forward Danny Fortson for the game for refusing to enter Friday’s game against New York.
