Panning our pizza

Share

As a recent import to the L.A. area from downtown N.Y.C., I anxiously read Shawn Hubler’s piece [“New Yorkers: How to Get a Life Out Here,” May 1]. Many of her impressions echo my feelings -- yadda yadda yadda, the weather, the energy.

Yes, the car culture is a bit of a shock: We New Yorkers are dumb as posts when it comes to anything on four wheels that isn’t yellow and driven by a recent immigrant.

However, my girlfriend and I must draw the line on pizza. C’mon, Robert Rosenthal! “There’s no difference between the pizza ...” ? Get outta town! There’s more great pizza on any single square city block in any neighborhood in N.Y.C. than in all of SoCal.
