COLUMBUS, Ohio — Goaltender Jason LaBarbera is leaving the team indefinitely to attend to a family matter.
LaBarbera traveled with the Kings to Nashville on Sunday night, but will return to Los Angeles today. It is not known when he will rejoin the team.
The Kings are expected to recall goaltender Adam Hauser from minor league Manchester. Hauser has a 3.55 goals-against average and .894 save percentage in eight games with the Monarchs this season.
LaBarbera, who has shared the goaltending job with Mathieu Garon, has played in 11 games, 10 of which were starts. He has an 8-3 record with a 2.44 goals-against average and .915 save percentage.
Garon made his eighth start for the Kings against Columbus on Sunday.
