David Zenoff, 89, a former Nevada Supreme Court justice who officiated at Elvis Presley’s wedding, died Monday of a respiratory ailment at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas, Calif., near his home in La Costa.

He presided over the May 1, 1967, marriage of Presley to Priscilla Beaulieu at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas after the hotel’s owner, who was a friend, called to ask him to participate in a high-profile couple’s secret ceremony.

Zenoff also presided over the 1959 divorce of actors Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher.

He was proud of his work with juvenile offenders and his leading role in founding a Las Vegas-area youth camp, said his daughter, Terrie Zenoff Sanders.
