A Vogue just for guys

Vogue, the bible for women’s fashion, is about to get a baby brother.

Conde Nast Publications, a major magazine publisher, says it will begin publishing Men’s Vogue as a bimonthly next April, following the success of a test issue that went on newsstands last month.

Mansion mania: First it was a ride at Disneyland. Then it was a movie with Eddie Murphy. Now the Haunted Mansion will be a comic book series. The first issue is due this month from SLG Publishing, with stories about the ghosts who live in the famed dwelling.

Activist anchor: Katie Couric, who underwent an on-air colonoscopy five years ago, was scheduled to have a mammogram on NBC’s “Today” show this morning in what the producers said was an effort to encourage more women to get tested for breast cancer.

Renewals: The WB has picked up its freshman drama “Supernatural” for the full season. And MTV has renewed “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” for another season next year.

Green Day: Following its two weekend shows at Home Depot Center, Green Day will play a concert Tuesday at the Wiltern LG that will be broadcast live at 9 p.m. on AOL Music LIVE! Tickets for the concert go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday through Ticketmaster and the Wiltern box office.
