Michael Ryder struck for the second straight night, wristing a shot off goaltender Kevin Weekes 2:10 into overtime that gave the visiting Montreal Canadiens a 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers on Thursday.

Ryder scored the game-winner Wednesday with 11 seconds left in a 2-1 victory at Boston.

Detroit 4, St. Louis 3 -- Robert Lang had a goal and an assist to lead the Red Wings at St. Louis.

Toronto captain Mats Sundin could sit out four to six weeks after breaking the lower orbital bone when he was hit in the face by a puck Wednesday.
