Making flying more comfortable

WE completed an international flight last month and had an overall good flying experience with Aer Lingus. A question for all airlines: If you insist on increasing seating capacity, why not retrofit the seats so that those self-serving dolts (they know who they are) would be restricted as to how far they can recline their seats? We value our little private space over the hours we are held captive.
