Djorkaeff, Magee Lift MetroStars

Youri Djorkaeff scored his second goal of the game in the 86th minute to help the MetroStars defeat Eastern Conference-leading New England, 5-4, Saturday in a Major League Soccer game at East Rutherford, N.J.

Mike Magee had two goals and Amado Guevara also scored for the MetroStars (10-7-10), who are 6-0-5 at home since May 7.

Sharlie Joseph scored twice, Taylor Twellman scored his league-leading 15th goal and Clint Dempsey also scored for the Revolution (15-6-6).

D.C. United 2, Colorado 0 -- Christian Gomez’s goal off a free kick in the 65th minute ended a scoreless tie at Washington.

Nick Rimando made three saves for his 11th shutout this season and Jaime Moreno scored his team-high 13th goal.

United is 14-9-5 and Colorado is 9-13-4.

Chicago 2, Columbus 1 -- Chris Rolfe scored in the 84th minute, his second goal of the game, to lift the Fire at Columbus, Ohio.

Rolfe scored in the fifth minute and Knox Cameron tied the score in the 80th minute.

Chicago is 14-10-3 and Columbus is 9-14-3.
