It’s Not Easy Being This Green
Earth to Hootie Johnson: We don’t need another U.S. Open-style course set up so tough that a score around even par can win the tournament. I, for one, missed the birdie and eagle roars that used to reverberate throughout the back nine on the hallowed grounds of Augusta National. Instead, all we heard were groans of disappointment all afternoon.
Would Bobby Jones really have wanted this?

According to David Toms, old Hootie has too many rules and Tiger might get a break at the Masters. Well, dude, Tiger earned anything he got and the TV audience thanked Hootie for limiting commercial time to four minutes an hour.
Maybe they should switch the Masters to an Arizona course, where 20 to 30 under wins, and then you might make the cut.
