Man Sought in East L.A. Killing

A man was fatally shot in East Los Angeles on Saturday, and authorities said the shooting appeared to be unprovoked.
Richard Lopez, 41, was killed about 1 p.m. in the 3900 block of Percy Street after another man approached, shot him and ran away, said Sgt. Harry Van of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Paramedics said Lopez died at the scene.
