at San Jose, 7:30, OLN

Site -- HP Pavilion.

Radio -- 1110.

Records -- Kings 41-35-5, Sharks 44-26-11.

Record vs. Sharks -- 1-5-1.

Update -- The Sharks have wrapped up fifth place in the Western Conference and the Kings were eliminated from the playoff race Thursday. So the only significance to this game is it will be Luc Robitaille’s farewell to the NHL, as he ends a Hall of Fame career that began in 1986. It may also be the final game for other Kings, on the ice and off it, most notably center Jeremy Roenick and General Manager Dave Taylor. Roenick will not be re-signed and Taylor is expected to be fired as general manager after the season. Goaltender Mathieu Garon, who has been inconsistent -- at times because of lack of support -- has 31 victories, tying him with Felix Potvin for third on the Kings’ single-season list. Potvin had 31 in 2001-02. Mario Lessard had 35 victories in 1980-81 and Rogie Vachon had 33 in 1976-77. Center Craig Conroy injured a knee against Calgary on Saturday and did not travel with the team. Center Derek Armstrong (back) and defenseman Brent Sopel (knee) are out.
