Responsible driving

The Aug. 4 article on hybrid car drivers using carpool lanes states: “Carpoolers have said hybrid owners drive too slowly, slowing down the lanes and defeating the advantage they offer.” Which means hybrid owners obey the speed limit of 65 mph, drive responsibly and save gas during the energy crunch. Good for them. Many times I have seen people going more than 80 mph in the carpool/bus lane get annoyed if a bus or car goes only 5 mph above the speed limit. The law is the law, and instead of blaming hybrid owners, do what you are supposed to do. Obey the speed limit.
