Man Struck and Killed by Metrolink Train
From Times Staff Reports
A man was hit and killed by a Metrolink train Wednesday afternoon as he walked on the railroad tracks, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The man “was walking on the tracks, the conductor sounded the horn, the man turned around and saw the train but didn’t quite make it off the tracks,” Lt. Michael J. Rodriguez said.
The victim had not been identified, he said.
