Cincinnati 6, at San Francisco 3: David Ross’ solo homer broke a tie with two out in the eighth, and the Reds rallied from a three-run deficit to win. Ross connected against Vinnie Chulk for the NL wild-card-leading Reds, who pulled to within percentage points of first-place St. Louis in the NL Central.
