Driver Seriously Injured in 60 Freeway Shooting

A woman was shot in the neck and seriously injured Saturday morning as she drove on the westbound Pomona Freeway when someone in a pickup truck opened fire at her car, authorities said.
The 3:30 a.m. shooting, which resulted in the freeway being shut for five hours by investigators, occurred east of Crossroads Parkway. The 31-year-old woman, who was driving a gray 2005 Toyota Corolla, was treated at County-USC Medical Center.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a black Ford F-150 pickup truck with a lift kit.
