Home or away, Indiana Coach Mike Davis just can’t escape rumors about his job security.

After Penn State beat the Hoosiers, 71-68, on Wednesday night at State College, Pa., the embattled Davis sidestepped questions about a report that he would step down after this season following his team’s sixth loss in the last seven games.

“I’m not answering anything about my job,” Davis said after being asked about a story posted Wednesday on SI.com, citing sources in the athletic department that he would resign after the season.

The Indianapolis Star reported that Davis had already resigned, effective at the end of the season.
