Woman Dies of Wounds in 60 Freeway Shooting

A week after she was shot while driving on the Pomona Freeway, a 31-year-old woman died of her wounds at an area hospital, a coroner’s official said.
The woman, whose name was not released, died Friday night. She was shot about 3 a.m. Feb. 11 while heading west on the freeway. Witnesses said a black pickup truck with several people inside pulled alongside the woman’s car and someone opened fire with a handgun.
The woman’s male passenger steered her car off the freeway.
