Officer’s Wife Charged With Attempted Murder

The wife of an off-duty Los Angeles police officer was charged Wednesday with attempted murder for allegedly shooting him during an argument at their Reseda apartment, then trying to run him over.
Yolanda Yvette Cade, 38, pleaded not guilty to the charges in Van Nuys Superior Court and was ordered to remain in jail on $3-million bail, pending a preliminary hearing July 17.
If convicted, Cade could face 70 years to life in prison.
