Sunday Becomes Golf’s Moving Day

As my wife and I watched the end of the British Open we both had to grab for the tissues. Never have I been so moved at the end of a golf tournament. I know partly it was because of losing my dad last year and my mom a few years back, but also the genuine emotion I saw pour out of Tiger Woods. If you didn’t stick around for the closing ceremony, Chris DiMarco and Tiger gave very touching and eloquent speeches. Their moms and dads could be very proud.
