Warriors End Kings’ Home Streak at 14

Adonal Foyle scored a season-high 18 points, Mike Dunleavy added 17 and the Golden State Warriors ended the Sacramento Kings’ 14-game home winning streak, 90-83, Sunday night.

The Warriors never trailed but blew a 16-point lead in the second half before winning for the fifth time in their last seven games.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 24 points for the Kings, who hadn’t lost at home since Jan. 8. They were 10-0 at Arco Arena since acquiring Ron Artest, who made only four of 20 shots and had 11 points.

“We waited too long to get started, and it backfired on us,” said Mike Bibby, who scored 22 points in the Kings’ fourth loss in six games. “We got too [comfortable] winning too many games in a row here. We thought they were just going to give it to us. They came out and jumped on us right away.”

Seattle 106, San Antonio 102 -- Ray Allen, kicked in the back by defender Bruce Bowen earlier while the two lay on the floor after a play, made a three-point basket with 5.4 seconds left to cap a 33-point effort in the SuperSonics’ victory at Seattle.

“It’s just dirty basketball. It’s plain, outright, dirty basketball,” said Allen, who had to be restrained while Bowen was called for a technical.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 28 points, rebounding from a season-low six against Portland on Friday.

New Jersey 79, Detroit 74 -- Vince Carter produced 22 points and the Nets scored the first five points of the fourth quarter at Auburn Hills, Mich., on the way to their eighth straight victory.

Richard Hamilton led Detroit with 19 points.

Memphis 102, Charlotte 95 -- Pau Gasol had 33 points and 15 rebounds at Memphis, Tenn., to lead the Grizzlies to their season-high seventh straight victory, one short of the franchise record.

Gerald Wallace scored 25 points for Charlotte after the arena was evacuated and the game was delayed for 90 minutes by a small fire that broke out on a food cart on a freight elevator one minute before the scheduled tipoff.

Another short delay occurred with 8:30 left when the alarm system was triggered.

Milwaukee 125, Toronto 116 -- Michael Redd scored 35 points at Milwaukee and the Bucks overcame rookie Charlie Villanueva’s career-high 48 points, the highest total by a rookie this season.

Toronto also lost leading scorer Chris Bosh after only seven minutes to a sprained left thumb.

Cleveland 104, Houston 102 -- LeBron James scored 36 points, including the go-ahead dunk with 3:24 left in overtime, to lead the visiting Cavaliers to their fifth straight victory. Damon Jones added 22 points and made five of six three-pointers. Yao Ming had 27 points for Houston.

Indiana 92, Philadelphia 79 -- Stephen Jackson scored 23 points at Indianapolis to help hand the 76ers their second straight loss. Allen Iverson scored 26 points for the 76ers but made only two of 12 second-half shots.

Chicago 101, Boston 97 -- Ben Gordon had 13 of his 17 points in a fourth quarter in which the visiting Bulls rallied from a 10-point deficit. Paul Pierce scored 24 for Boston.

Minnesota 98, New York 94 -- Kevin Garnett had 26 points and 15 rebounds at Minneapolis and the Timberwolves blew all but one point of a 25-point lead before sending the Knicks to their fifth straight loss.

Orlando 108, Atlanta 101 -- Hedo Turkoglu scored 23 points at Orlando, Fla., to lead the Magic to their third straight victory.
