Holiday closures

Today is Veterans Day. The following schedule is in effect in observance of the holiday:
Government: All city, county and federal offices and courts are closed.
* Mail: There is no delivery, and post offices are closed.
* Libraries: Most branches are closed.
* Banks: Most are closed.
* Buses: Metropolitan Transportation Authority routes will run on their regular schedules. For information, log onto to www.metro.net or call (800) COMMUTE.
* Metrolink: Trains will run on their regular schedules.
* Trash collection: Garbage will be picked up in Los Angeles on the usual schedule.
