Seven in a row for Hawaii; Brennan reaches 43 TDs
Colt Brennan threw for 406 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 60 yards and another score as Hawaii scored 52 straight points and beat Louisiana Tech, 61-17, Saturday night in Honolulu.
The victory was Hawaii’s seventh straight and kept the Warriors, 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the Western Athletic Conference, in second place in the WAC behind Boise State. Louisiana Tech fell to 3-7 overall and 1-4 in conference.
Brennan, who completed 27 of 40 passes, has 43 touchdown passes on the season and needs 11 more to tie the NCAA record of 54 set by Houston’s David Klingler in 1990.
Brennan has four games left in the season, including the Hawaii Bowl.
