WHAT’S AHEAD

TONIGHT: Attention, students. Where will the premiere of “Ithuteng” (Never Stop Learning), hosted by Ben Affleck and Djimon Hounsou, take place? That’s correct: at the Directors Guild of America. The film tells the tale of three students among thousands attending the Ithuteng Trust school in Soweto, South Africa.

THURSDAY: In the mood for a scary, sci-fi adventure? Or at least some celeb-watching? Go to the premiere of “Children of Men,” starring Julianne Moore, Clive Owen and Michael Caine at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood.

SATURDAY: Museum of Contemporary Art presents “Skin + Bones: Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture.” Wear your trendiest garb and look out for world-class designers Narciso Rodriguez, Yohji Yamamoto and Isabel Toledo with scads of trendsetting celebs.

SUNDAY: “Miami Vice” director Michael Mann takes home top directing honors at the 14th annual Diversity Awards, held at the Century Plaza Hotel.

Also: An Evening With Larry King and Friends to benefit the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, among other charities, at the Beverly Hilton, with Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Eva Longoria, and “ET’s” Mary Hart as MC. Should be fun. Larry really does have a lot of friends. Really.
