A league of their own

Re “Clemens Is Named in Drug Affidavit,” Oct. 1

With the latest disclosure of alleged steroid misuse, how about a separate baseball league for all-star losers that would include the likes of Barry Bonds, Pete Rose, Mark McGwire, Andy Pettitte, Roger Clemens, Miguel Tejada, Rafael Palmeiro and Jose Canseco, all of whom have contributed to the coming demise of America’s favorite pastime? Baseball bigs can promote a contest for naming the new league. The words “Anabolic” and “Steroids” immediately come to mind.
