Wake Forest 25, at North Carolina State 23: Sam Swank kicked three field goals of more than 50 yards and Riley Skinner threw a touchdown pass to lead the Demon Deacons (6-1, 2-1) over the Wolfpack (3-3, 2-1) at Raleigh. Swank had two field goals of 53 yards and one of 51 yards, becoming the fifth player in NCAA history to kick three field goals of 50-plus yards in a game and the first since North Carolina’s Dan Orner in 2002.
Florida State 51, at Duke 24: Drew Weatherford threw three of his four touchdown passes to Greg Carr, and the Seminoles (4-2, 2-2) continued their dominance over the Blue Devils (0-6, 0-4) with a victory at Durham. Weatherford completed 16 of 24 passes, including 10 straight in the second half, for 231 yards as Florida State improved to 15-0 against Duke.
at Miami 35, Florida International 0: Kyle Wright had three touchdown passes for the Hurricanes (4-2) in a victory over the Golden Panthers (0-7) in a game marred by a bench-clearing brawl that resulted in the ejections of 13 players.
Maryland 28, at Virginia 26: Keon Lattimore ran 56 yards for the go-ahead touchdown to lead the Terrapins (4-2, 1-1) over the Cavaliers (2-5, 1-2) at Charlottesville. Maryland had trailed 20-0 in the second half before reeling off 28 consecutive points.
South Florida 37, at North Carolina 20: Ricky Ponton returned from a six-game suspension and ran for 101 yards and two touchdowns to carry the Bulls (5-2) over the Tar Heels at Chapel Hill.
