Arizona Cardinals Coach Dennis Green fired offensive coordinator Keith Rowen on Tuesday and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Mike Kruczek.

The move came hours after the Cardinals blew a 20-point lead and lost to the Chicago Bears, 24-23, on Monday night.

“I’ve known Keith for a long time. I have the utmost respect for him,” Green said. “We are not scoring enough points.”

Jim Fassel was fired as offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens, a move designed by Coach Brian Billick to get more firepower from the league’s 28th-ranked attack.

The Ravens scored only 10 offensive touchdowns in their first six games and were held to 16 points or fewer three times.

Even though Baltimore sits atop the AFC North, Billick felt a change in the team’s offensive philosophy was imperative.

“Clearly, in order for us to expand on our 4-2 start, we have to have more offensive productivity,” Billick said.

Agent David Dunn, who represents Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer and dozens of other NFL players, has been suspended for two years by the NFL Players Assn.

The punishment is based in part on his testimony in a trial against Leigh Steinberg, in which a federal jury in Los Angeles found that Dunn competed unfairly against Steinberg, his former business partner.

Shortly after that 2002 trial, the players’ union had suspended Dunn for two years, but he filed for bankruptcy, which put on hold all administrative actions against him.

The latest suspension, which is subject to appeal, would not prohibit his firm from retaining NFL clients, although Dunn could not receive any part of a player’s fee.

The league’s action came hours after Robinson pleaded not guilty to drunk driving and fleeing police charges that stemmed from a high-speed chase in August.
