NBC shores up its Thursdays

NBC is shifting its first-year comedy “30 Rock” to 9:30 p.m. Thursdays and returning the comedy “Scrubs” to the schedule at 9 p.m. Thursdays beginning Nov. 30.
The two comedies replace the game show “Deal or No Deal” in the 9-10 p.m. Thursday time slot, where they will face this season’s two most-watched series, ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and CBS’ “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”
NBC will air various specials Wednesdays from 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Nov. 22, in what had been the time slots for “30 Rock” and the benched first-year comedy “Twenty Good Years.”
“Deal or No Deal” will continue to air at 8 p.m. Mondays.
