Holiday closures
Monday is Labor Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Offices: All city, county and federal offices and courts will be closed.
Mail: No mail delivery; post offices will be closed.
Schools: Public schools, community colleges, Cal State Fullerton, Chapman University and UC Irvine will be closed.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Libraries: Most will be closed.
Public transportation: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on a reduced holiday schedule. Metrolink trains will not run.
Trash collection: Trash will not be picked up. Collections will be one day late for the rest of the week.
