Man, 23, Survives Gunshot to His Chest
A 23-year-old Norwalk man was shot in the chest Tuesday at a gas station in Los Alamitos.
The man, whose name was not released, was treated at a hospital for wounds that were not life-threatening, according to police.
He and a companion were at the Unocal station on Katella Avenue at Siboney Street in the early morning when the shooting occurred, police said.
The pair then drove a few blocks to a gas station in Cypress, where they called emergency services.
No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation, authorities said.
