Heat clinches; Wade close

The defending champions are back for more.

Antoine Walker and Shaquille O’Neal scored 20 points apiece and the visiting Miami Heat clinched a playoff spot Thursday night, beating Cleveland, 94-90, in overtime to drop the Cavaliers from second to fifth in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Heat also said Dwyane Wade could decide next week when he will return from a dislocated shoulder that has sidelined him since Feb. 21.

LeBron James had 35 points for Cleveland.

San Antonio 92, Phoenix 85 -- Tony Parker had a season-high 35 points and the host Spurs moved to within two games of the second-place Suns by holding them to their worst shooting (38.6%) of the season. Steve Nash scored 20 for the Suns, who also lost the tiebreaker to the Spurs, 2-1, and beat their season-low point total by only two points.
