“Time Warp Trio: Sam Samurai”

Jan Scieszka

Three boys, Sam, Fred and Joe, had to do a report on haiku in their English class. They took a rest and a mist came from the book. Then, bam! They traveled back 100 years to Japan. They lost the book, and that meant that they were stuck there.

I like this book because it is funny and cool and because it is about samurai.

Would you like to learn about samurai? Then read this book!

“The King’s Equal”

Katherine Patterson

This book is about a prince called Raphael who has to marry a princess so he can be a king. The princess lives on a far mountain and comes to the prince so they can marry and live for a long time.

I think you will like this book because it is fun to read. It has no killing, and it is fun because the animals can talk.
