Man held, 2nd is sought in slaying
Police arrested a man and were looking for a second one Friday in a connection with a fatal drive-by shooting.
The victim, Ricardo Hernandez, 20, was standing alone in a relative’s garage in the 10100 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard about 7:40 p.m. when two men drove up and fired at him multiple times, police said.
One of the suspects, Pedro Serrano, 30, was being held in lieu of $1-million bail at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Area Station jail.
Police were still looking for an accomplice in the shooting.
