A South Los Angeles woman accused of ramming her car into a crowd of brawling women and killing an expectant mother pleaded not guilty Tuesday to murder charges.

Unique Kiana Bishop, 21, has been charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of part-time Cal State Northridge student Shontae Treniece Blanche, 22, and her unborn child. Bishop also pleaded not guilty to three counts of attempted murder involving three other women.

Police said Bishop and Blanche were in a fight involving 30 young women in South Los Angeles early last month that was sparked by a dispute over a man who had dated two of the women. At the height of the confrontation, police said, Bishop allegedly drove her convertible into the crowd, ran over Blanche and pinned another woman against another vehicle before speeding away.
