Holiday closures
The following schedule is in effect today in observance of Christmas:
* Offices: All city, county and federal offices and courts will be closed.
* Mail: There will be no regular mail delivery. Post offices will be closed.
* Libraries: Most libraries will be closed.
* Banks: All banking institutions will be closed.
* Schools: Public schools will be closed. UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University will be closed.
* Public transportation: OCTA buses will operate on a holiday schedule. Metrolink trains will not operate.
* Trash collection: Trash will not be picked up. Service will be delayed one day.
