Dallas Mavericks forward Devean George will sit out tonight’s game at Houston because of a sprained right knee suffered in Tuesday’s victory over Milwaukee, the team said Wednesday.

Golden State Warriors guard Jason Richardson could return Tuesday from a broken hand suffered Dec. 30 against Sacramento.... Phoenix didn’t say whether point guard Steve Nash (shoulder) or forward Boris Diaw (back) will return Tuesday, but the Suns did say that forward-center Kurt Thomas is expected to play after being sidelined since Jan. 15 because of an elbow injury.
