Tracy McGrady scored 32 points Wednesday night to lead the host Houston Rockets to a 112-102 victory over the Miami Heat, which had Pat Riley back on the bench but lost All-Star guard Dwyane Wade late in the game.

Wade injured his left shoulder in the fourth quarter and was in so much pain that he had to be taken off in a wheelchair.

The Heat was 13-17 when Riley stepped down nearly seven weeks ago for operations to replace his left hip and repair cartilage in his right knee. Miami had gotten back on track recently, winning seven of its last eight games, but never led Wednesday and dropped back below .500.

Wade, who left with 27 points, got tangled up with Shane Battier and grimaced in pain before going to the bench. A couple of minutes later he was helped into a wheelchair and taken off the bench. He was not moving his left arm and appeared to be in severe pain as he was wheeled away.

The Heat said Wade would not accompany the team on its trip to Dallas for Thursday night’s game, instead going to a Houston hospital to have his injury diagnosed.

Cleveland 86, Toronto 85 -- LeBron James scored 29 points, and Anderson Varejao dunked teammate Sasha Pavlovic’s missed shot with 16 seconds left to lift the visiting Cavaliers.

Chris Bosh had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Andrea Bargnani scored 18 points for the Raptors, whose eight-game home winning streak ended.

Phoenix 118, Boston 108 -- Leandro Barbosa scored 14 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and the Suns held off the Celtics. Amare Stoudemire had 32 points and 12 rebounds but scored only two points in the fourth quarter as the Suns struggled to avoid a fourth consecutive home loss.

Detroit 110, Orlando 88 -- Chris Webber and Richard Hamilton each scored 18 points, and the Pistons earned their ninth win in 10 games.

Darko Milicic, picked No. 2 overall by the Pistons in 2003 over Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, was booed in his return to the Palace at Auburn Hills, Mich. Milicic was traded to Orlando last season after averaging fewer than two points in two-plus seasons in Detroit. Webber, held to 22 minutes by a first-quarter eye injury, was eight for 10 from the field.

Golden State 118, Memphis 115 -- Monta Ellis scored nine of his 22 points in a frantic overtime, and the host Warriors withstood Mike Miller’s franchise-record 45-point performance.

Miller made three of his club-record nine three-point baskets in overtime, but Ellis kept the Warriors close until Al Harrington made the go-ahead jumper with 1:02 to play.

Warrior Jason Richardson scored 19 points in his return from a 22-game absence (broken hand).

New Orleans 111, New Jersey 107 -- David West scored a season-high 32 points and Chris Paul had 19 points and 11 assists for the Hornets, who overcame a season-high 46 points from Vince Carter at East Rutherford, N.J.

Jason Kidd struggled from the field in what could have been his final game with the Nets. He missed nine of his first 10 shots.
