Gas alarm closes Red Line station
From a Times Staff Writer
The Red Line subway station at Wilshire Boulevard and Vermont Avenue was closed for an hour Sunday evening, after an underground gas detection alarm sounded, a transit spokeswoman said.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the alarm about 6:50 p.m., closing the station for the next hour, she said.
No one was injured.
