Missing O.C. woman’s car is found
The car of an Orange County woman missing since Jan. 9 was found in La Palma on Tuesday with dried blood and a pair of tennis shoes in the trunk, authorities said.
Amber Lee Hill, 38, of Stanton was last seen leaving her job at the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Downey. Although her wallet was found a week later on a trail off Colima Road in Whittier, her 2001 Dodge Stratus remained missing.
The car was spotted Thursday in an employee parking lot by a security guard at ADP, a firm that handles payroll checks but went unreported until Tuesday. The car was taken to the county crime lab.
