Update -- Last year Chivas became the first Major League Soccer team to be bounced from the U.S. Open Cup by an amateur team -- Dallas-based Roma FC. The winner of the match will play host to the Colorado Rapids on Aug. 7 in the quarterfinals. Chivas has played Seattle twice in friendlies, winning 1-0 and 2-1. Chivas Coach Preki will be without Ante Razov (red card in last Open Cup game), Shavar Thomas (ineligible), Paulo Nagamura (right knee sprain) and Jonathan Bornstein (All-Star game). Preston Burpo will start in goal. This year, so far, four of the eight MLS teams in the Open Cup have been eliminated, including the Galaxy and defending champion Chicago.
