Chihuahua saves toddler from snake
From Times Wire Reports
Zoey is a Chihuahua, but when a rattlesnake lunged at her owners’ 1-year-old grandson, she was a real bulldog.
The toddler was splashing his hands in a birdbath in his grandparents’ Masonville backyard when the snake slithered up, rattled and struck, said grandfather Monty Long. Five-pound Zoey jumped in front and was bitten instead. The dog survived.
