Police seek gunman who killed store employee
Police are still searching for a man who fatally shot an employee and critically wounded another at a Hollywood liquor store last week.
Authorities said Pulod Davlatnazarov, 39, was stocking items in the back room of the Limelight Liquor Store in the 1600 block of La Brea Avenue on Thursday when a man grabbed him by his shirt and walked him to the front counter at gunpoint.
When the store clerk, Vladimir Akkerman, 69, reached for an alarm button, the man shot him, police said, then shot Davlatnazarov in the back of the head.
Davlatnazarov died; Akkerman is in critical condition.
