Update -- The Avengers clinched their fifth playoff berth in six years Saturday night by virtue of Kansas City’s victory over Nashville and can clinch a first-round home game with a victory over Las Vegas and a Chicago victory Monday night over Colorado. The Avengers routed Las Vegas, 59-37, on May 6 at Orleans Arena. Quarterback Sonny Cumbie completed 24 of 30 passes for 293 yards and six touchdowns, and Kevin Ingram caught 13 passes for 142 yards and three touchdowns. Gladiators quarterback Nick Rolovich will try for his second win in the fourth start of his career. Las Vegas has given up more sacks than any team in the Arena league. L.A. has won six of eight meetings against Las Vegas.
